Beloved country radio show host Bobby Bones has something big in store. In an interview with Lonestar 99.5, the deejay revealed exactly why his band, The Raging Idiots, are saying goodbye to the road after a short eight-city tour.

He was excited to share his news, but it was bittersweet. He was unable to say anything too specific, but at least we can understand now why this is the Farewell Tour for The Raging Idiots.

We talked a lot about what we can expect to see at his Lubbock show October 20th at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center with The Raging Idiots.

"I would like to keep playing, but I literally can't," Bones said, sounding a little frustrated. However, he quickly added that he's "very happy to get a TV show."

I pressed Bones on when and where fans will be able to see his new TV show, but he wasn't able to say just yet. The most he could reveal was it would probably be out at the end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018.

We can't thank Bobby Bones enough for talking with us and sharing so much of himself, just like he does everyday in the morning here on Lonestar 99.5.
