Music artists break the genre barrier all the time! Taylor Swift is the most obvious example, but would you prefer you artists to be more strict about genre specifics?

Sheryl Crow is one of the artists that comes to mind when thinking about recent cross overs. She has been part of the music business for a long time and even admitted recently when being asked about her new Country song release 'Easy' that if Country music was

the way it is now 'back when', she would've been considered Country a long time ago.

Even Hunter Hayes went the other way and had a pop version of his hit song 'Wanted'

cross over to pop charts.
