Bird Lovers Come Up With a Tool to Frustrate Your Cat

There's all kinds of ridiculous products for pandering your pet, now there's one that let's your torment your cat so it won't kill birds.

Yes, this is an ingenious idea from Birdsbsafe. It's a brightly colored breakaway collar you put on your cat that will scare away birds and other animals so your cat can't follow it's natural instincts to catch them. Here's what their website says.

Birds simply fly to safety!  It's like your cat is wearing a bright flag that signals: "Danger, here."

Well that's all fine and dandy if this in fact is a major problem, is there really a bird shortage anywhere this bad that requires your poor cat to wear a collar?  Yes, it is breakaway, which means there no way in hell your cat will actually keep this on for extended periods of time.

I can't even imagine most cats tolerating this thing? They look like a clown with it on!  And what about the cat, was there research done to see if this affect their psyche?  Well, I guess you know where I stand on this, let cats be cats and let birds find another place to poop.
