Angaleena Presley's now a mom of two! The country singer gave birth to her second child, a baby girl, on Tuesday (Jan. 22), People reports.

Phoenix Joeleena Jean Powell, Presley's first daughter and first child with husband Jordan Powell, was born at 7:49AM. She weight 7 lbs., 3 oz., and measured 17.5 inches long, at birth. Both mama and baby are doing well, though Presley shares that Phoenix's delivery didn't go perfectly smoothly.

"When we were admitted to the hospital before delivery, Phoenix's heart rate got up really high and she was kicking the crap out of me," the country artist says. Fortunately, Powell came to the rescue: He played a Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson duet, and "[w]ithin 15 seconds, her heart rate dropped to normal and she relaxed."

"I guess she knew already where her roots were," Presley adds. "Nothing like a piece of home to heal a heart.”

Presley, Powell and Presley's son from a previous relationship, Jed, came up with Phoenix's first name together. Her middle names come from family and friends: Joeleena is a combination of Joe — in honor of Powell's good friend, the late singer-songwriter Tony Joe White — and Leena, a family name from Presley's side. Jean is Powell's grandmother's name.

"I'm so glad to add this strong female to our family," Presley says. "She is tiny but she is fierce. Jordan and Jed are both by her side and head over heels."

Presley first revealed that she was expecting back in August, with the help of her Pistol Annies bandmates: During a Miranda Lambert show, Ashley Monroe and Presley joined Lambert onstage for a brief Pistol Annies set, during which they shared the big news. The family shared that the new baby would be a girl in September.

Presley's newest album, a Pistol Annies project, dropped in early November. Interstate Gospel is the trio's third studio record.
