Can you imagine having a 2,500 pound buffalo as a house pet? Ronnie and Sherron Bridges have raised this buffalo named Wild Thing and it's remarkable to see how he has learned to behave himself in their house.

In 2004, medical bills forced this self-proclaimed 'buffalo whisperer' to sell his herd of 52 buffalo. But The Bridges kept Wild Thing, who was just a 3-month-old calf at the time.

The now 11-year-old buffalo has his own room and is now part of the family. Wild Thing watches television, enjoys a meal at The Bridges' dinner table and manages to move through the house very carefully and respectfully. He is potty trained and will step outside when necessary. Ronnie Bridges calls him "a perfect gentlemen."

Wild Thing was even the Best Man at the family wedding ceremony when the Bridges renewed their vows.

Ronnie Bridges is able to give Wild Thing a bath, go swimming with him and take him for a run alongside his pickup truck. This buffalo has come to respect his owners.
