Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Is Coming to Lubbock!

BREAKING, Entertaining News Lubbock! Just announced today, We will soon have an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Movie Theater in town!

Ever been to one of these babies when you were out of town? Then you know we've got a good reason to be excited for another theater in town!

Via email blast, their website, Facebook, and Twitter, they have spread the word about their coming to town.

"With over 30,000 college students in three universities, a steady economy, a trade area of nearly 500,000 people, the Lubbock community was a clear choice to become home to an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. This great community with its vibrant art and academic culture is a perfect setting to bring Alamo’s unique entertainment experience. The location at North Slide and Loop 289 will put the theatre at a location convenient to the Texas Tech Campus and patrons from the entire region" says Triple Tap Ventures LLC President, Neil Billingsley-Michaelsen.

The new powerhouse of entertainment will be located at: Texas 289 Loop Frontage Rd & N Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX 79416 out there by the Renaissance Apartments and the Lubbock Heart Hospital area.
