The Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team is back in the friendly confines of Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. Starting today they will open a six game home stand. The Red Raiders will host Florida Gulf Coast tonight and Wednesday night at 6pm.

Then this weekend, Tech resumes Big 12 play as they welcome the Oklahoma Sooners. That will be a very important series because Tech opened Big 12 conference being swept by Baylor down in Waco and is now 0-3 in the conference.

So Tech will need some wins over the Sooners and a sweep will be nice so the Red Raiders can even things up at 3-3.

But first things first and that is focusing on The Eagles of Florida Gulf Coast. These mid week games are the ones you need to win.

Tech plays well at home and gives fans their money's worth. The Red Raiders and 10-1 so far at home. If you like offense, Tech is averaging nine runs a game at Dan Law.

Another reason to come out, it's "turn back the clock night" tonight. Tech will wear their throw-back uniforms and how about this sports fans, "HOT DOGS WILL BE A $DOLLAR".

The newly renovated Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park is a great place to watch a ball game.

Have you seen Tech play in the new digs? If you have, what do you think?
