Governor Abbott Add 24 More Counties to Disaster Declaration

Due to the recent storms Texas Governor Abbott had to add many more to the growing list of counties on the disaster list.

Here are the NEW counties added to the list: Archer, Bastrop, Bosque, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Collin, Cooke, Denton, Dewitt, Eastland, Fannin, Gaines, Grayson, Grimes, Harrison, Hays, Henderson, Hidalgo, Hill, Hood, Houston, Jasper, Johnson, Kendall, Montague, Navarro, Newton, Nueces, Parker, San Jacinto, Smith, Van Zandt, Walker, Wichita, Wilson and Wise counties.

Already on the list were:  Bosque, Clay, Denton, Eastland, Gaines, Montague, Van Zandt, Cooke, Grimes, Hood, Navarro, Smith and Wise counties.

The National Weather Service says there are more severe thunderstorms expected across the state today.
