This Saturday, April 9, 2016 marks the 9th Annual Toadbucket Nationals Car & Motorcycle Show in Lubbock from 9am to 2pm in the South Plains Mall west parking lot between Home Depot and Sears, benefitting Life Gift

Admission is free for spectators and entry fee for cars and motorcycles is only $20.  Food vendors will be on site, plus awards for the top 100 cars and a raffle for a $100 Visa gift card.

April is National Donate Life Month and the main purpose of the Toadbucket Nationals is to draw awareness to the importance of organ donation.

It's all being done in honor of Christopher 'Toadbucket' Barnes who lost his life at the young age of 4 years old in a car accident in January, 2007.

Through this indescribable tragedy, Christopher was able to save four people's lives through organ donation. Two Dallas men received Christopher's kidneys, another Dallas resident, a young boy, received Christopher's liver and a young girl in California received his heart.

After Christopher's parents met one of the organ recipients, they decided to work to raise money and awareness through the annual car and motorcycle show.
