In reviewing Texas laws, we came across many that are absolutely ridiculous, and some of which are apparently still on the books. So in the spirit of fun, here are the top 5 most ridiculous Texas laws we found.

Coming up to Memorial Day weekend, certain more obvious laws pertain to the holiday in particular, including drinking and driving and wearing your seat belt. But did you know that drinking too much beer while standing up is not only ill-advised, but illegal?

    It doesn't say whether it's alright to sell someone else's eye, but selling your own is strictly prohibited.

    Can you take two sips of beer while you're standing?  Absolutely. But if you're standing around during the Memorial Day weekend sipping your beer and you exceed three, then you're really breaking the law.
