Are we in store for another snowy winter as we had last year here in the Hub City? Thanks to El Nino and NOAA, all signs point to exactly that: wetter and colder than usual.

And, even though we started last spring/early summer wetter than usual, drought set in at the end of the summer and fall has provided less than normal amounts of rainfall. So we'll take just about all of the moisture we can get.

Wetter-than-average conditions most likely in the Southern Tier of the United States, from central and southern California, across Texas, to Florida, and up the East Coast to southern New England. [NWS/NOAA]
