The Johnny Cash 2013 Music Festival lineup has just been announced, with classic country acts, such as Vince Gill, along with Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers set to perform at the third annual event.

Additional performers include Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers and Joanne Cash Yates, along with show host Tommy Cash. This year's event will again help fund the restoration of the Johnny Cash Boyhood Home, located in Dyess, Ark., as well as support a scholarship fund established in the 'Folsom River Blues' hitmaker's name.

Country music fans will be excited to hear that the restoration of the home is well underway and the museum is projected to open in the spring of 2014. The Man in Black certainly left a legacy, and it's heartening to see the love that's being poured into this iconic musical landmark where Cash spent his childhood.

The music festival will take place on Aug. 17 at Arkansas State University's Convocation Center in Jonesboro, and tickets will go on sale April 1. You can find more ticket information here.
