Who can resist a tribute to their favorite band or a Texas Tech baseball game? This week, Lubbock is host to a plethora of theater plays. Texas Tech will also be facing West Virginia in the team's final regular season home series.

  • Lubbock Community Theater Presents "Leading Ladies"

    May 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lubbock Community Theater

    “Leading Ladies” is a comedy play written by Ken Ludwig. The play tells the story of two Shakespearean actors who find themselves in the Amish country of York, Pennsylvania, mounting Shakespeare plays. When they hear an old lady in York is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long-lost English nephews, they resolve to portray themselves as her beloved relatives and receive the cash. The trouble is, when they arrive in York, they discover the lost relatives are not nephews, but nieces instead!
